KIZETO is a pottery with a light yellow glaze fired in a Seto family kiln. It was fired with SHINO, ORIBE, SETO – GURO after late 16th century. It means Yellow Seto-yaki. They were made actively in Mino (Toki-shi, Gifu prefecture and its surroundings). The glaze color of KIZETO is the color a little iron contained in the glaze gave for oxidizing flame firing, but the pale dull yellow has familiarity that is difficult to express. A glaze is put on a marking line and flower stamp,copper and iron are hit in places on the surface.
